Ada Wilkinson Eade was born in Texas. Her family moved to Motley County, Texas in a covered wagon. She taught school in Whiteflat, TX.. She married Ivan Clifton Eade in 1920 and had one son Raymond Eade. Ivan and Ada owned and operated a meat market in Daly City, California. During the great depression they would feed as many down on their luck people as they could afford. After Ivan's death she moved back to Texas. Later she moved to Smyer, TX and taught school until her retirement. Her son Ray preceded her in death. She mourned the death of her only natural born son Ray until she passed. She was a kind woman and was respected by all who new her.
