Adeline Sims Boatman. On Nov. 25, 1970, he married Gertrude Elizabeth Teter Paris,
and she survives.
He was a driver for major oil companies in Columbia and also worked at Toastmaster
and Banquet Foods in Moberly. He was a former member of the Moberly Moose Lodge.
Other survivors include two stepsons, Walter Paris and Kenneth Venoy Paris, both of
Macon; two stepdaughters, Reta Paris of Macon and Alice Best of Gilbert, Ariz.; a
sister, Roxie Cockrell of Sturgeon; six stepgrandchildren; and three
stepgreat-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Bennie Boatman and William Boatman, and
two sisters, Nettie Mae Palmer and Bonnie Norman.
Memorials are suggested to the Mount Salem Cemetery Association in care of the
funeral home.
