Mr. Stinnett was born Dec. 4, 1932, in Sevier county, AR. He was retired from Weyerhaeuser, a member of First Baptist Church, Gillham, and an Arkansas National Guard veteran.
Survivors include his wife, Norma Jean Morphew Stinnett; two daughters, Sheila Cook of Gillham and Rose Johnson of De Queen AR; two brothers, Harold Stinnett of De Queen and Donald Stinnett of Lockesburg AR; three sisters, Joy Tanner of Russellville, AR, and Sue Tollett and Kathleen Miller of Horatio, AR; five grandchildren; and a number of other relatives.
Services were held at 10 A.M. Saturday at Wilkerson Funeral Home. Burial was in the Gillham cemetery.
Visitation was from 6 P.M. to 9 P.M. Friday at the funeral home.
