Son of Walter Hugh Drane III and Inez Barnes, I was born July 4, 1940, in Los Angeles, California. I am now retired and living in Silverton, Oregon, with my wife.

My wife, Penelope Anne LaMora, daughter of Roy LaMora and Shirley Hartman, was born January 20, 1941, in Watertown, New York. We married in Las Vegas, Nevada, on April 13, 1960.
