ORVILLE R. PULVER
JENNINGS, Louisiana - - Orville R. Pulver, 87, of Midland, died at 4:15 a.m. this morning in a local nursing home following a long illness. He was a native of Lincoln, Nebraska, a retired machinist and carpenter and a one-year resident of Jennings.

Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery with Miguez Funeral Home handling the arrangements. The arrangement times will be announced later.

Survivors are three daughters, Mrs. Ruth Coker, Houston, Mrs. Esther Lippard, Vidor, Texas, Mrs. Minerva Powell, Westlake, two sons, David R. Pulver of Jennings, Alvin Pulver of Houston, Texas, three sisters, Mrs. Mina Hill, Homer, Mrs. Minerva McSherry, Midland, Mrs. Clara Barker of Fenton, 11 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Calvin Lapuyad, pastor of the Trinity United Methodist Church, will officiate. Burial will be at the Greenwood Cemetery. Mr. Pulver died at 4:15 a.m. Thursday in a Jennings hospital.
