Mary was married twice. Her first husband, Christopher Forest died in 1887 at the age of 38, and with him she had a son, William Christopher. Mary then married Michael P. Pineau in 1898 and together they were the parents of Sister M. Victorian (Margaret Mary), IHM.
Mary died on March 19, 1917 in Williamsport, and is buried in Wildwood Cemetery in Williamsport, Pennsylvania. Note: It is unclear if she is buried near her first or second husband within the cemetery.
