Born in Denmark, lived in Teton, SD in Stanley County, moved to Pierre and in 1945 Marie Wheeler and daughter Audrey owned and operated a music store in Pierre, SD. She adoped the infant daughter(Audrey) of her brother John Iversen after his wife(Agnes Nelson Iversen) died,and when brother John died 5 yrs later she raised his other four children, Harry, Mabel, Dorothy, and Mette.
