The only daughter of the six children born to Laurisa (Futch) and Mack(Joseph Malachi) Jackson, she lived her entire life in Mont Belvieu, Chambers County, Texas. She married Aubrey Brooke on January 9, 1944, and raised two children - Genie Brooks Clark and Anita Brooke Ratliff. She was a homemaker, active in her community and her church, spending much of her time working with children. Grandchildren are Jeff, Wade and Brett Clark, and Stuart and Tyler Ratliff. At this writing, she has one great-grandson - Koby Lee Clark.
