Susan Green Deeter was born in Monroe, Louisiana on May 13, 1942 to Cecil Bernard Green and Gracie Merle Brown. She departed this life peacefully on October 26, 2019, while surrounded by her loving family.

Susan was a very hard and dedicated worker. Throughout the years, she worked at various locations in machine shops and metal work. She would even pick up cleaning jobs at night in order to support her family and children. She was very patriotic and appreciative of those that served the country.

When she wasn't working, Susan loved to be outside, whether is was working on the yard or fishing. She also enjoyed staying in to work on genealogy charts and watch movies on the Hallmark Channel. She had a big heart and giving spirit for people and animals. She never met a stranger and was always ready to strike up a conversation.

Susan was preceded in death by her husband Marvin Leroy Deeter, daughter Treena Elizabeth Moore and parents.

She left behind her children DaVonna LaVerne McGrew, Melody Irene Schafer, Susan Annette Elder, Norman Ross Moore and Katharine Elizabeth Thomas, 13 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation: Friday, November 1, 2019 from 5 to 8 p.m.
Services: Saturday, November 2 at 12:30 p.m. at the Floral Haven Chapel.
