A retired school teacher, she pursued a second career managing her son-in-law's dental office until her retirement at the age of 97.
Her work ethic, Christian life, and moral belief's stand before us as a guiding light to follow.
Surviving are a daughter, Lillian and husband Dr. John Paxton; a son James L. Rivers and wife Selene; three grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her husband, Lewis; and a granddaughter, Mical Hope Paxton.
A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, March 19, 2010 at Woodlawn Memorial Park
