Dorothy Reading, 91, Port Charlotte, died Oct. 10, 2004. She was born Oct. 29, 1912, in Brooklyn, N.Y., and came to the Charlotte County area in 1998 from Fort Myers and, prior to that, from Floral Park, N.Y. She was a communications supervisor with Sperry Rand in Lake Success, N.Y., for many years. She was a Catholic. Survivors include nieces and nephews Virginia Ifferte of Long Island, N.Y., John Mussone of Venice and Roger Mussone of Rotonda West. Memorial donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
