Haline Stucker, 83, a resident of Harrisburg Care Center, died 5:40 a.m. Jan. 9, 2002, at Harrisburg Care Center.
Graveside services will be held 11 a.m. Friday, Jan. 11, 2002, at Little Saline Cemetery in Stonefort with the Rev. Edward Jackson officiating. Visitation will be held after 10 a.m. Friday at Felty Funeral Home in Carrier Mills. Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Foundation and left at the funeral home.
She was born Dec. 9, 1918, in Harrisburg, to the late Hubert and Reba (Borum) Jackson. On Sept. 5, 1936, she married John Irwin Stucker, who preceded her in death on Feb. 21, 1987.
She was a member of the Stonefort Seventh-Day Baptist Church.
She is survived by a daughter Susan Strait, Muddy; a son, Roger Stucker, Carrier Mills; two sisters, Aleta Walker and Marjorie Catherine Tate, both of Harrisburg; a brother, Arthur Jackson, Clarksville, Tenn.; four grandchildren, Irvin Scott Strait, Corona, Ga., Jeffrey Alan Strait, Stonefort, Gerica Lynn Stucker, Carrier Mills, Eric Lee Stucker, Valparaiso, Ind.; and two great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a son, Kenneth Stucker, three brothers, three sisters and one grandson.
