George William Brewer, retired farmer of near Poolesville, died suddenly morning of a heart attack at his residence, aged 72 years.

A son of the late William and Ida Brewer, he was an insurance agent for the Montgomery County Farm Bureau, after giving up active farm work.

Surviving is his widow, Mrs. Bettie Williams Brewer; these children, Charles M. Brewer, Beallsville; Mrs. Betty B. Eggleston, Danville, Va.;p George William Brewer, Jr., Glen Burnie; Mrs. Jane B. Carlisle, Towson. Also these brothers and sisters: Mrs. May B. Cramer, Frederick; Mrs. Aletha White and Mrs. Nellie Pyles, Poolesville; Milton Brewer, Mississippi; Mrs. Lillian Byrd, Dawsonville; Mrs. Herbert Shreve, Kensington; Burch Brewer, Detroit; Mrs. Evelyn Mason, Washington, and Newton Brewer, Barnesville.

Funeral services will be conducted at the late residence in Poolesville on Tuesday at 2 p.m. Interment will be in Monocacy Cemetery, Beallsville. William B. Hilton, funeral director.
