Maynard Beckworth was born on April 9, 1889 in Minnesota; son of Albert A. and Emma Beckworth. As a child, Maynard lived in Elmore City, Faribault County, Minnesota. He was 21 years of age when he lived for a time in Endee, Quay, New Mexico with his parents and his sister, Marna I. By 1920, at age 31, Maynard had returned to Newport, Minnesota where he was working as a Blacksmith and had married Clara Wiese. In 1930, Maynard was employed in the Resturant Business. Maynard died on Dec 21, 1951 in Freeborn County, Minnesota at the age of 62.
