ANNA SHOCKEY, 85, of Ventnor, died Friday in Our Lady's Residence in Pleasantville.
Mrs. Shockey was the night chief supervisor for New Jersey Bell Telephone Co. in Atlantic City for more than 30 years before retiring 25 years ago.
She was a member of the Telephone Pioneers and the Church of the Epiphany of Ventnor.
Born in Philadelphia, she was a Ventnor resident for the past 30 years, having previously lived in Atlantic City.
She is survived by her son, Willard C. of Ventnor; two sisters, Betty Hitchins of Gainesville, Fla., and Alta Todd of Philadelphia; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Services will be held 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Jeffries & Keates Funeral Home at Tilton Road and Infield Avenue in Northfield, where friends may call from 1:30 to 2 p.m.
Burial will be in Laurel Memorial Park in the Pomona section of Galloway Township.
