According to "Record of Connecticutt Men in the Military and Naval Service during the War of the Revolution, 1775-1783, Moses Lockwood of Greenwich, CT served in the Revolutionary War; however, the connection has not been completely proven. There is also a Moses Lockwood who served in the Revolutionary War from Pound Ridge. Ann married Moses Adams on 28 October 1824. The couple had seven children: Lyman, Charles G., Evaline, John Quincey, Helen, Walter and Mary Ann. Her death certificate listed her first name as Anna. Ann's husband, Moses Adams, left a written statement that stated Ann's grandfather, Moses Lockwood, was a Revolutionary War Veteran.
