Funeral services were held yesterday afternoon in the Restitution church for Hanan Shadley, 87, who died at 4 o'clock last Saturday morning at the home of a daughter in Bement. The Rev. Roscoe Deverick officiated and burial was in Slusser cemetery.
Mr. Shadley had lived in the vicinity of Casey all his life, having been born n Johnson township. Recently, since his health has been failing, Mr. Shadley went to Bement to live with his daughter, Mrs. Cora Fish.
Surviving are Mrs. Fish and two other daughters, Mrs. Harlan Crouch of Casey and Mrs. Edith Bell of Terre Haute; a son, Russell of Michigan City, Ind., and a sister, Mrs. Mary Luckey of Casey.
