Wesley Coulson, age 74, of Owosso, MI passed away Friday, January 1, 2010 at Chesaning Nursing Care Center, Chesaning, MI.
A Memorial Service will be held 11:00 AM Tuesday January 5, 2010 at Spring Vale Academy, Owosso. Pastor Max Morrow will officiate. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Bennington Township, MI.
Wesley was born in Kent County, Michigan on December 20, 1935, the son of Homer and Anna (Timmerman) Coulson.He was a graduate of Springvale Academy of Owosso and attended Midwest Bible College of Missouri. Wesley has lived in Shiawassee County since 1984 moving from Saskatachewan Canada.
Wesley retired from Spring Vale Academy as a Maintenance Supervisor in 2002 after 18 years. He was previously a Pastor for the Church of God Seventh Day in Saskatchewan also at other churches in the United States and Canada. He was a member of Church of God Seventh Day.
He is survived by his daughter MaryAnn and Perry Chunyk of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan; son Jeffrey and Shelly Coulson of Ridgedale, Saskatchewan; daughter Carla and David Waldner of Ridgedale, Saskatchawan; son James and Rose Coulson of Ridgedale, Saskatchewan; grandson Tyson Waldner of Ridgedale, Saskatchewan; granddaughter Ta'naches Coulson of Ridgedale, Saskatchewan; 4 brothers Ned and Joyce Coulson of Lakeview, MI, Dan Coulson of Coopersville, MI, Dick and Marge Coulson of Allendale, MI, Ben and Florence Coulson of Pocahantas, Arkansas; sister-in-law Opal Coulson of Meridian, Idaho.
Wesley was preceded in death by his parents, a brother Edwin Coulson, sister Carrie (Jim) Hassen, former wife Carol.
