Anna Lee Stewart Cooper
APPOMATTOX - Anna Lee Stewart Cooper, 82, of Route 3, peacefully passed away Friday, March 3, 2006, at her residence. She was the wife of Joseph Boyd Cooper.
Born in Point Clinton, Ohio, on Feb. 24, 1924, Mrs. Cooper was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. O.P. Stewart.
She was a homemaker and a member of the Appomattox Seventh Day Adventist Church, where she served as head deaconess.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by a son, Allan Lee Cooper of Collegedale, Tenn.; a daughter, Joann Trohan of Appomattox; three grandchildren, Carol Ann Harrison, Christine Marie Haldeman and Paul Boyd Cooper; four great-grandchildren, Emily Ann Harrison, Daniel T. Harrison, Rachel Mary Harrison, Brittany Nicole Cooper and Christopher Ryan Haldeman.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Sunday, March 5, 2006, at the Appomattox Seventh Day Adventist Church, by Pastor Dale Long, Pastor Ron Ihrig, and Pastor John Robbins. Interment will follow at 3:30 p.m. in Bellamy Memorial Cemetery, Gloucester County.
The family will receive friends at Robinson Funeral Home from 7 to 8:30 p.m. today.
