Concord Primitive Baptist Church Record - Organized 1837 in Chambers County, AL; relocated to Randolph County, AL in 1845:

March the 10, 1838.

Received by letter Brother David Tredwell and Sister Jerutia Tredwell, his wife. Received Brother Tredwell as an ordained deacon and he was recognized by the church.

State of Alabama, Chambers County

In the name of God Amen:

I, David Treadwell, being of sound and disposing mind and memory arrange my temporal matters while in life and in my usual health do make this my last will and testament.
Item 1st. I will my soul to God who gave it.
Item 2nd. I will that all my just debts be paid and that I be buried in a Christian like manner in a fine coffin.
Item 3rd. I will that all my perishable propery all debts due me and all money on hand be divided equally between my beloved wife Matilda A. Treadwell, and my three sons to Wm. A. Treadwell, H. R. Treadwell and F. L. Treadwell.
Item 4th. I will all my lands to my three sons above named.
Item 5th. I hereby appoint Francis L. Treadwell as executor to this my last will and testament done and signed by the request of the testator in presence of - this 4 April 1870.
