"Mrs. Catherine G. Haas, 76, of 1419 Neilson St., wife of Kneale G. Haas, died yesterday in St. Lukes-Memorial Hospital Center. Mrs. Haas was a member of Olivet Presbyterian Church, Board of Directors, Pastors Aid Society and the Women's Fellowship. She was also a member of the Utica Chapter, Order of the Eastern Star. She was born in the Town of New Hartford, daughter of John D. and Laura Rowlands Griffiths. She attended New Hartford Schools. She was married in 1925. Besides her husband, she leaves two daughters, Mrs. William R. (Helen) Floyd of New Hartford; Mrs. Stephen (Marian) Galer of Philadelphia, Pa., and five sisters, Mrs. Fred (Nellie) Muhr of Utica, Mrs. Sidney (Lena) Root and Mrs. Edward (Frances) Stewart, both of El Cerrito, Calif. The funeral will be at 11 Thursday from the Williams Funeral Home. Burial will be in New Forest Cemetery. Calling hours are 7 to 9 tonight and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 tomorrow."
