Florence "Dannie Mae" Buford, a homemaker, died Friday at a local hospital. She was 80.
She was a native of Mobile and a resident of the Trinity Gardens community for more than 35 years.
Survivors include five daughters, Gloria Watson of Detroit, Charlotte Johnson of Niceville, Fla., Florence Welch of Mobile, Della Parsons of Houston and Yvette Madison of Birmingham; four sons, English Buford III of Detroit, James Buford of Mobile, Reginald Buford of Austin, Texas, and Robert Buford of Birmingham; 26 grandchildren; and 33 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be Saturday from 9 a.m. until the 11 a.m. funeral at Christ Temple Apostolic Church, 801 Virginia St. Burial will be in Gethsemane Cemetery North in Eight Mile. Arrangements are by Reese Funeral Home on Bessemer Avenue in Prichard.
