Ref: Ft. Madison Evening Democrat, Ft. Madison, IA, 4 Jul. 1896 -- Thomas Hull, who had been very ill for sometimes succumbed to the inevitable at 3:20 Saturday p.m. and his spirit passed to it's maker.
Mr. Hull was 55 years old and was a native of England. He came to America in 1849 and had lived in Ft. Madison may years. He leaves three sisters, Mrs. E. Palmer, Mrs. Anna Heisey, and Mrs. A. D. Lockwood. Funeral services were held at the Lockwood residence at 3 p.m., 6 July. (Burial was made in the City Cemetery.)
