Clara Derr, married Joseph Greager abt 1874. Joseph had a son out of wedlock before this marriage, Samuel Lincoln Greager with a Emma C. unknown maiden who tried to get Joseph Greagers pension in 1907. It went to Clara Derr Greager instead in 1889. If you go to Joseph Greager's F.A.G. memorial, Carrie (the other has a nice write up). The odd thing with Clara is that she seemed to distance herself from Joseph as did the kids even after his death. Thus the different spelling of Krieger instead of Greager. Some of their children did not even put their fathers name on their marriage license's and some had John Greager as the father on their D.C.'s. When Clara died her obituary makes no mention at all of her late husband Joseph. Her obituary is under Mrs. Greager, Shamokin News Dispatch 18 Sept. 1929, p-1. Names her parents John & Catherine Derr.
