Paul White, 67, of Bell Lane, Varnville, died October 7, 2007, at Hampton Regional Medical Center.

Mr. White was born November 4, 1939, in Cannelton, WV and was a son of the late Harry Roswell White and Stella Mary Ferrell White. He retired as an inspector from Westinghouse after 18 years of service and attended Huggin Oak Church of God. He loved sports, especially the Atlanta Braves, and loved to have cookouts and visit with his family.

Surviving are his wife, Geraldine Bennett White; children, Paul Anthony White of Jacksonville, FL and Sara Melissa White of Charleston; step-children, Sara and Don Mole of Orangeburg and Betty and Joe DeLoach, III, Randy and Debra Sauls, and Perry and Audrey Sauls, all of Varnville; sisters, Mildred Danburry of Hanahan, Annette Ripple of Parkersburg, WV, and Eleanor "Norty" White of Clarksburg, WV; brothers, Jerry White and Juanita of Myrtle Beach and Denny White and Cindy of Maryland; special friends, George and Fay Dewitt of Varnville; 13 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a step-daughter, Lynn Crosby.
