Rev. Bishop Albert Leo Kee was a beloved Pastor, husband, father, grandfather, businessman and friend to hundreds of
people on the island of Key West, Florida.
He cherished and maintained the Church Of God Of Prophecy on Elizabeth Street, as well as continuing his
father's souvenir business at the Southernmost Point Of
The United States on Whitehead Street for many years.
Albert Kee was my friend and pastor. He is survived by his wife Sandra, ( who now pastors the church) and his daughter Brenda.
Key West is not the same without Pastor Kee, who loved
and prayed for everybody he met. He deserves mention on
this web site, as his life was dedicated to love of
God and caring for others.
The Church and his many hundreds of friends gave Bishop
Kee an old-fashioned Key West "send off" complete with marching band and a procession across the island, "over Solares Hill" to the Key West Cemetery, similar to funerals in New Orleans, (see pictures).
He was a great man
whom the world was not worthy of. Only heaven knows how
many souls this brother touched in his life.
He was an example to all who claim Jesus as their Lord.
