HIS BROTHER DEAD
Lewis Beck, brother of Phillip Beck of this village, died at his home in Columbia, Tennessee, on Thursday of last week. His remains were brought to Coshocton County and interred in the cemetery at the St Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church on Friday, Rev J J S Rumbarger of this village conducted the funeral services. The deceased was a native of Germany. He came to this country with his parents when thirteen years of age and settled in Madison Township, this county, where he grew to manhood. He was married to Elizabeth Studer and lived for a number of years in Coshocton County where his wife died and her remains were interred in the St Paul Cemetery. Twenty-three years ago Mr Beck moved to Tennessee, where he has since resided. He was twice married, his second wife surviving him. Mr and Mrs Phillip Beck, Mr Orville Beck, Mrs Rose Littick and Mrs Effie Beers of in and near this village attended the funeral services.
