As per The News-Herald ( Franklin, Pennsylvania) 11 Dec. 1916, Mon. Page 6 :
At 2:30 o'clock Sunday afternoon Rev. J.B. Hillard, of Polk, conducted services in the Methodist Episcopal church at that place in memory of the late Jacob Doutt, one of the best known residents of that section. The edifice was packed. Acting as pall-bearers were Sydney, Nathan, E. G., Austin, Noah and Manuel Doutt, all nephews of the deceased.
As per Jacobs certificate of death his occupation or trade was - Wagon, Maker, Frank Doutt of Polk, Pa. was informant for this.
