His other film credits included "The League of Gentlemen" (1959), "Children of the Damned" (1963), "The Conqueror Worm" (1968), "Where Eagles Dare" (1969) and "The Blood on Satan's Claw" (1971). He was also the husband of playwright Olwen Wymark and father of actress Jane Wymark.
