I checked with the St. Mary's Cemetery office and this person was listed as Frank J Schinn. Spoke with the cemetery office today Oct. 4, 2018 @ 2:40 pm. Does not have any record for a Frank J Schinn.
Researched because of this e mail:
Frank Schinn (42964612)

Suggested edit: I believe this memorial is for Frank J Schiner, father of George Schiner. Death Certficate shows a Frank J. Schiner dying on April 4, 1917. Death Certificate shows the burial at St. Mary's on April 6, 2017. I added a photo of the Schiner plot, as that is my guess as to where he may be buried.

I then looked up the death certificate and phoned the St. Mary's Cemetery again and the same answer for Frank J Schiner. They did not have him listed. I gave the dates on the death certificate, the first time I gave the date of 2017 for burial as that is what was shown on the e mail for burial. We discussed, perhaps someone put cremains in the cemetery without permission, and scattered them. That is done a lot more than some think. Still I thought a hundred years later must have been cremains. I opened the death certificate on line at the MO. SOS site and it actually shows the interred date of April 7, 1917. Does not show as cremation. The cemetery office does show George and Minnie Schiner in lot D. There are mistakes on death certificates, someone in family shows a place of burial, and another member or availabilty of a lot or many other reasons they decide to have the person buried in another cemetery.
Missouri death certificate # 14445 Frank J Schiner male, white, widower. Farmer by trade. Parents Joseph and Mary Hurlin or Hirlin both of Germany. Anna Schiner of Rogerville, MO. [should be Rogersville] Passed away in St. John's Hospital.

I have spoken with the Catholic cemetery office on many occasions and know they had several fires, records were destroyed. They have used the bits and pieces of the records they could find, other records regarding information from them for purchase, etc. Also they took photos of all the monuments in the cemetery and with this arsenal have re-created the names of those buried there.
Over the years we have talked about and agree on the reasons people are not where a death certificate has them so it is not always the "go to" for a listing. There must be other proof. At this time nothing more than the death certificate showing yes, and the cemetery office showing no.
Family would be helpful to come forward and clear up this matter. Perhaps an obituary or some printed funeral cards, etc.
What ever comes of it, the cemetery office will say that he is not buried there should you call. The death certificate will show he is there.
