Bio

Hazelwood Cemetery, Springfield, MO. My sources are many besides my wandering through the cemetery. MO. Death Certificates on-line, Greene County Missouri Cemeteries Vol IX 3 book series Hazelwood Cemetery by Ozarks Genealogical Society. Walking and photographing of the stones. Constant in touch with the staff at the cemetery to find information. To those helped thanks for the letting me know. Thanks to those that have furnished corrections, or the added information that would help.

PLEASE NOTE: Speaking for myself and photos I take. Findagrave does have rules you should be aware of regarding copy or using photos posted. Copywrite laws, etc. I give permission for you to use my photos in the way you see fit for your family. Please do not take this as permission for all photos at findagrave.

Over the years name field regarding infants and children not named have changed. Looked this on up today July 26, 2121 because of some 20 ish edits. Where I had Infant Daughter, Son, etc. they suggested putting in the inscription spot. Many do not have any monuments. The info does not belong there.

" How should I add an infant with an unknown name?
Most often you would use what is inscribed on the headstone for the first name field, such as Infant or Baby Boy along with the surname in the last name field. You can add other descriptive text to distinguish one infant from another in the same family, such as 'Infant Boy Jensen' and 'Infant Boy 2 Jensen.' If the surname cannot be found, the word Unknown can be used in place of the surname. "
I have a lot of memorials now that needs changed. If you find any please let me know and I will work on them to comply with the rules. Now all those names Infant I took out and replaced with Unknown can go back to Infant.
