Sallie Hpoper was born in the Cherokee Nation in 1850 and lived in this community all her life. Died at the family home near Stilwell, Thursday morning, October 3, at 4:30, and was laid to rest in the Clear Springs cemetery.
Mrs. Hopper is survived by a brother, Martin Hopper, one son, two daughters and a number of grand children and great-grand children. Deceased united with the Baptist Church early in life and was a devoted Christian workers.
