Funeral Services Today For Mrs. Ollie Peters

Funeral services are being held today (Friday) at 2:00 p.m. in St. Marcus United Church of Christ at Rhineland for Mrs. Ollie Peters, a lifetime resident of McKittrick, who died at her home Tuesday morning. She was 83 years old. The services will be conducted by Rev. Henry W. Radloff of Hermann, and burial will take place in St. Marcus Cemetery.

Born March 10, 1880, at Big Spring, she was the daughter of William Gunby and wife, nee Elizabeth Wilkening. She was married to William F. Peters in Rhineland Jan. 18, 1899. Mr. Peters died May 30, 1958.

Survivors include two daughters and a son. They are Mrs. Herbert Meyer (Felicia) of McKittrick; Herbert Peters of Phoenix, Ariz; and Mrs. Fred Saak (Florence) of Hermann. Other survivors are three sisters... .

Mrs. Peters was a member of St. Marcus United Church of Christ and … . She was also a member of Riverview Chapter of the Royal Neighbors at McKittrick, and this organization awarded her a 50 year membership pin this year.
