Donna Winn Carter, age 49, passed away on Saturday, September 5, 2009. She was a parishioner of St. Margaret Catholic Church and touched many lives throughout her lifetime. She was a devoted wife and loving mother, grandmother and sister, as well as a true friend to all.

Donna is survived by a daughter, Danielle Carter Harper and husband Todd; son, Devin William Carter and wife Lauren, and daughter-in-law, Amber Carter, along with three grandchildren, Cameron, Kayden, and Aubrey Carter. She is also survived by her siblings, Luvenia Burns and husband Joe, Dottie White, William O'Berry, Jr. and wife Suzanne, Patricia O'Berry, Robert Winn. Donna will also be missed by numerous nieces, nephews and extended family members and friends.

She was preceded in death by her son, Dennis Carter Jr., grandson, Mason Carter and parents, William O'Berry and Dorothy Leblanc.

Special thanks to all of Donna's co-workers at North Oaks Medical Center for the love and support shown to the family.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Mass of Christian Burial at St. Margaret Catholic Church in Albany on Thursday, September 10, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow in St. Margaret Catholic Church Cemetery.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Brandon G. Thompson Funeral Home, west of Hammond on Wednesday, September 9, 2009 from 5:30 p.m. until 9:00 p.m., with a prayer service at 7:30 p.m., officiated by Pastor John Raymond. The visitation will resume at the funeral home chapel on Thursday from 8:00 a.m. until 9:30 a.m.
