The daughter of Fred Perry and Nettie Verne (Turner) Martin, Polly was born and grew up in Livingston, Polk County, Texas. She had two brothers and two sisters.

On 25 Oct 1941, Polly married Joseph Alexander Camp in Houston, Texas. Joe joined the Navy, and Polly followed him to various ports around the United States always working at a job. After the war, Joe acquired Joe Camp Ford in LaPorte. Polly was busy raising their only son, Joe, Jr. and later worked for the dealership.

Polly was a wonderful cook and a talented homemaker. Her relatives and friends can recall many wonderful Thanksgiving and Christmas dinners served at her house on Galveston Bay.

Cremated - ashes buried.
