Jane and Elijah both died young, leaving their children to be split up and taken care of by several different relatives. Some years after their deaths the children had a small white marble single marker erected for them that had both their names and dates on it. The old marker became almost illegible. Two new single gray granite stones for Jane and Elijah were installed March 11, 2011 in front of the old stone. Their markers are located in the next row from Jane's sister, Rebecca (Bertram) Rule Guinn, as well as Francis "Frankie" Brown, and Lilly and Noah Brown. It is not far from the two remaining grave houses or from the flag pole at the back of the church.
