Jerry Fred Chronister, 71, of Atkins, died Sunday, August 2, 2009, at Little Rock.
He was born June 16, 1938, in Atkins, AR, and was the son of the late Claude and Sarah Duvall Chronister. He was also preceded in death by brother, Johnny Wayne Chronister and a sister Norm Wright.
He was a poultry and cattle farmer.
He is survived by his wife, Doris Jean Chronister; sons and daughter-in-law, Kenneth and Tina Linboom, Doug Nuckols , daughters and sons-in-law, Kristie Chronister, Kimberly and Eric Napier, Sarah and Greg Harris all of Atkins; 10 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren, 2 brothers and sisters-in-law, Don and Kim Chronister, Jimmy Dale and Evelyn Chronister both of Atkins, sisters and brothers-in-law, Pat and J.T. Robertson and Louise and O.D. Lewis both of Russellville.
Funeral service will be 2:00 PM Wednesday, August 5, 2009, at Union Grove Free Will Baptist Church with Rev. David Bishop officiating. Burial will be at Suggs Cemetery by Lemley Funeral Service.
Visitation is 6:00-8:00 PM Tuesday.
Pallbearers will be Timmy Chronister, Jamie Chronister, Jeremey Chronister, Bo Chronister, Josh Chronister, Jessie Eaton.
