Advertising executive. He was born to Nathaniel and Hannah (Lorber) Storrs. Following a high school education, Frank began his career as a commercial printer. He conducted an advertising and printing business from 1895 to 1916. He was interested in the operation of theaters and theatrical advertising. In 1895, he founded the New York Theatre Program Corp., which secured a monopoly of the publications of all theater programs in New York City. It became the leading business of its kind. He was married in 1906 to Amanda Mayer. They had two daughters: Carolyn, wife of Daniel Stanton Sickles, and Ann Storrs.
