Wesley Younger was the son of Garrett Younger and Pauline Parrish Younger. He served in the Civil War and likely died during his service. He has two stones in Leahterwood cemetery, and according to one of them, he served in Co A 140th Ind Vol. He married Susan Jane Gregory on September 12, 1851 in Lawrence County, Indiana. They were the parents of three sons and three daughters.
