His other siblings are Samuel Henry "Harry", Thomas, Richard, Sophia, Sarah, and Robert Joseph. Richard died in 1899 and is buried by his father Phillip in the Mount Olive Cemetery in Scurry, Kaufman County, Texas.
George was a bachelor all of his life, keeping house with his mother after his father died, until her death from influenza in February 1913.
