Lifetime High Springs resident Rosemary Douglas passed away Friday, July 17th following a brief illness. She was a native of Pirmasens, Germany before moving to High Springs where she was a member of Mt. Horeb Baptist Church and a graduate of Santa Fe High School, Class of 1976. She was employed as a Teacher's Aide at Bell Elementary School where she dearly loved kids.

She was preceded in death by her parents Maurice and Betty Jo Knowles and a sister Jackie Knowles.

Survivors include: Husband De Witte Douglas, High Springs, three sons; Scotty (Jennifer) Douglas, Jason (Tammy) Douglas and Garrett (Lindsey Berry) Douglas all of High Springs, one daughter; Lindsey Douglas, High Springs, three brothers; Chris Knowles, Hawthorne, Michael Knowles, Bell and Russell Knowles, High Springs, one sister; Cheryl Robinett, Gainesville and six grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, July 21st at Mt. Horeb Baptist Church with Rev. Jim Riley officiating. Burial will be in the Mt. Horeb Cemetery.

Visitation will be Monday 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at EVANS-CARTER FUNERAL HOME, 220 N. Main Street, High Springs, phone (386) 454-2444
