Daughter of Lewis and Mary Elizabeth "Polly" (Linger) Bonnett. (Her mother apparently remarried Isaac Dix in WV in 1854). Married 11 November 1834 in Weston, Lewis Co, WV to John Butts/Botts.

Came across Oregon with the ill-fated Lost Meeks Wagon Train of 1845. Died after an illness and was buried along with three others.

Lewis, Mary Ann (Margaret) m. Sanford Wilcox, Festus, Jacob, Melva m. Elijah McKinney, and Anice (#35328289) m. Isaac Newton McClanahan.
