FATHER OF VERA CRUZ MAN BURIED TODAY AT DECATUR
George DeBolt - The Decedent Was Father of Alex DeBolt
George Debolt, well known resident of Decatur, died at his home there Monday evening, death being due to a complication of diseases. The deceased had been suffering for six months from kidney trouble and rheumatism, other ailments setting in, causing him to be bedfast for the past several weeks.
Mr. Debolt was seventy-four years of age, and was born in Fairfield county, Ohio, coming to Decatur a number of years ago, conducting the Debolt house, which was located just north of his residence, retiring from that business several years ago.
He is survived by the wife and the following children: Alex, of Vera Cruz, Ind.; Alice, of Centerville, Mich.; Thomas, of Rudolph, Ohio; Anna Covault of Fort Wayne; Florence Mincer of Fort Wayne and John of Decatur.
Funeral services will be held this afternoon at two o'clock from the house, with the Rev. E. C. Ghidoni in charge. Burial will be made in the Decatur cemetery.
