Porter M McClung of 1111 Goodhope Ave passed away Sept 22 at the age of 50. Had been a resident of San Pedro for 30 years. Was a retired L A Police officer Harbor Division. Survived by his wife Helen Ann, sons Timothy and William, daughters Mary Beth and Patricia McClung, all of San Pedro. Brothers Lee McClung of Missouri, Herbert McClung also of Missouri, Everett McClung of Tustin, sisters Lucille Button of Missouri, Doris Kelly of Long Beach, 1 grandchild. Brothers and sisters-in-law Nick N Trani, Tony Trani, Louis Trani, James Trani all of San Pedro, Louise Rose of Torrance, Phyllis DiMeglio of San Pedro. Mary Kathleen Mcclung of Torrance. rosary Sunday 645pm McNerney's Mortuary Chapel. Requiem mass 9am Monday, Holy Trninity Church. In lieu of flowers, make donations to San Pedro Boys Club or L A Police Memorial Fund.
