Family members said that Louise Martha Bosarge only spoke a mixture of Creole and French.
Thaddeus Lyons was in the Civil War and when he came home from the war according to the family he had to wear a blanket, because he had no clothes or shoes. One can only imagine how hard the times were, when the soldiers came home from the Civil War, those that were lucky enough to come home. So many were lost.
