Kanabec County Times (Mora, MN), 12 February 1904, page 1: "Death of Mrs. Vandusen. After months of suffering with that dreaded disease, consumption, Mrs. Annie Vandusen found relief in death at her home in Braham at 9:15 o'clock Saturday evening February 6th, 1904. Annie Lee was born in Norway and emigrated with her parents to America when she was nine years of age and settled at Tracy, Minn. She was united in marriage with Wm. Vandusen of Tracy in 1893. She was 28 years, 10 months and 14 days old at the time [of] her death. Her devoted husband and three small children survive her, also three brothers and four sisters, viz: Jacob Lee, John W. Lee of Tracy, Minn., Nels A. Lee of Verndale, Minn., and Mesdames H. Halvorson of Willow City, N.D., J. Edgar of Brunswick, Minn., P. Anderson, Hayfield, Minn., and R.M. Edgar of Mora, Minn. Mrs. Vandusen was an affectionate and faithful wife, a kind and cherishing mother and a good citizen, generally beloved by all who knew her. The bereaved husband and children will receive the sympathy of their community in this great bereavement. Funeral services were held from the Swedish Lutheran church at Braham on Monday at 1 o'clock in the afternoon February 8th and her mortal remains laid to rest in the Rice Lake cemetery."
