Michael Tague's family had emigrated from Ireland to Scotland during the famine years about 1854. Michael was one of 12 children, some died at birth and some at very young ages, only 5 living to adulthood: Mary, Thomas, John Joseph, Patrick, Hugh, Bridget, Owen and James.
Michael died at only age 2 in May of 1869 in Airdrie, Scotland. He was laid to rest with his father Thomas Sr.. his mother Ann, his brothers Thomas, Owen, James and Hugh and sister Bridget. They are all buried in the same grave in St. Joseph's Cemetery, 52 Dykeshead Rd., Airdrie, County of Lanark, Scotland.
