Mrs. Norinna (Matheny) Coiner, widow of Harry L. Coiner, died Wednesday (Feb. 1, 1967) at 10:50 a.m. in King's Daughter's Hospital. Mrs. Coiner had been hospitalized since Jan. 6.
For the past five years she had made her home with Mrs. M.C. Miller, 401 Sterling St.
She was a native of Staunton and spent her married life in Roanoke, returning here after the death of Mr. Coiner in 1940. Mrs. Coiner was a member of Christ Evangelical Lutheran Church.
She was the last surviving member of her immediate family.
A funeral service will be held Friday morning at 11 o'clock in the chapel of the Fred Henry Funeral Home conducted by the Rev. Donald R. Stonesifer. Burial will be in Thornrose Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Allen Hensley Sr., Cliftmont A. Bosserman, Richard E. Huff, Hugh Swortzel, Richard C. Firebaugh, W.W. Koiner, Marshall Hanger, Harry W. Payne, Russell J. Berry, Boyd E. Shaner, Walter F. Kennedy and William F. Fauver.
Friends will be received at the funeral home tonight from 7-8 o'clock.
It has been requested that flowers be omitted.
