Thomas Dunphy, 73, Wabash RR 1, a lifetime resident of Wabash County, died suddenly of a heart attack at 5:45 pm Tuesday in his home.
The decedent was born Fe. 14, 1890 to John and Kathryn (Houlihan) Dunphy and was married to Bertha Kelsey, who survives.
Mr. Dunphy, a farmer, was employed by Brodbeck Seed Company. He was a member of the Dora Christian Church.
Also surviving are three sons, Walter, Fort Smith, Ark., Donald, Wabash, RR 1, and John R. Wabash, five daughters, Mrs. Helen Kiefaber, Mrs. Omer (Irene) Behny, both of Wabash, Mrs. George (Mary) McNeely, Wabash RR 3, Mrs. Myron (Lucille) Wasem, Urbana, and Mrs. Robert (Louise) Grindle, Santa Marie, Ca. one sister, Mrs. Mary Ridenour, Wabash, 18 grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 2 pm Friday in the Eddingfield Mortuary Chapel with the Rev. Gleen Wagoner officiating. Burial will be in Falls Cemetery.
