Mr. Charley Allen, 82, of Wyaconda, MO, died Wednesday, July 3, 1991, at 3:20 AM at his home in Wyaconda.
He was born August 5, 1908, near Fairmont, MO, the son of Arthur C. & Virginia B. Jenkins Allen.
He married Mary Sidona Polhans on March 24, 1940, at Kahoka. She preceded him in death on May 3, 1982.
Survivors include one brother, Floyd Allen of Wyaconda, a niece, Lois McFarland of Kahoka and other nieces & nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife & three sisters, Leota Wells, Beuna Allen, & Jessie Allen.
Charley was a graduate of Wyaconda High School & had been an employee of the Standard Pipeline. He was a member of the Williamstown Lodge #370, A.F. & A.M.
Funeral services were held Friday, July 5, 1991, at 10:30 AM at the Wyaconda Baptist Church with Rev. Ernest Deatrick & Rev. Gerald Harrison officiating. Burial was in the Bear Creek Cemetery South of Wyaconda. Organist was Mrs. Denise Mathis & soloist was Mr. Mathew Eder.
Pallbearers were Lanny Clatt, Clyde Foglesong, George Evermon, Larry Howell, Bennie Scott, and Randy Ayer.
